Juno’s story is one filled with love, hope, and perfect timing. Formerly known as Avril, she was part of a litter who, along with their mom, Ariana, came to Washington German Shepherd Rescue in October 2024. From the moment she arrived, her sweet and playful spirit made her shine, but her real adventure began when Laura and Jeff Evans entered the picture.

Laura and Jeff had been planning to bring a puppy into their lives for a long time and felt that the time was finally right. Jeff, who had previously owned a shepherd mix, knew they wanted a similar breed. After a couple of unsuccessful applications elsewhere, their research led them to Washington German Shepherd Rescue, where the process turned out to be simple and seamless. In just a day, they heard back, and arrangements were made to meet Avril.

When Juno’s foster family brought her over, it was love at first sight. Her playful and affectionate personality melted their hearts, and Laura and Jeff didn’t hesitate—they knew she was meant to be part of their family.

Since arriving at her forever home, Juno (now renamed) has brought endless joy and energy into their lives. As a gorgeous German Shepherd-Husky mix, Juno catches everyone’s eye, earning compliments wherever she goes. Her days are filled with pets, playful adventures, walks, and happy greetings to anyone she meets. She has also become quite the car enthusiast, always ready for a ride and new places to explore.

“We couldn’t have asked for a better puppy for us,” Laura and Jeff shared. “We’re super thankful to Washington German Shepherd Rescue for finding us our perfect puppy and letting us give a puppy in need a home.”
