WE NEED A FOSTER HOME FOR KASHA! Kasha was saved from imminent euthanasia at an animal control in eastern WA by a kind-hearted and generous person who volunteers there. This is an excerpt from her email plea for help, "My name is Michelle and I took home a 9-yr old, female, spayed German Shepherd yesterday from the local animal control that they were going to put down that night. It was an emotional decision and I definitely should have discussed it with my husband first - I've been a volunteer with animal shelters for years, I should have known better - but when she put her head on my hand and closed her eyes I just couldn't leave her there. She's so well behaved, never even barks, just whimpers a tiny bit when you have to leave....my husband has given me two days to find a place for her or she goes back to animal control..." This must be an incredible dog for someone (a shelter volunteer, no less) to go to this extent. Kasha will be arriving here in a week.
