Tova is a fun-loving young girl and an absolute sweetheart. She loves attention and would do well in an environment with lots of interaction so that it allow her to be her friendly and outgoing self. Tova loves to play with her toys and never tires of playing fetch and running around the yard and being silly. It is her favorite thing to do, aside from eating string cheese. She is great around people, children over 14 years old, and other animals (especially cats since she loves to lick them until they are sloppy wet). She certainly is a social butterfly and car rides and trips to the pet store are one of her favorite things. Tova is full of curiosity about what you are doing and about the world around her which indicates a sign of a special intelligence. She already knows lots of commands such as: Sit, stay, wait, leave it, gentle, let?s go, shake, lay down, dance, potty, go for a ride, bed, night-night and many more. She is always eager to learn new things and wants to show you her great ability to do so. (I think she likes the praise, not to mention, the treats). You may recognize her from before. She had to be re-entered into the foster program because her first adoptive parents found out they are allergic to dogs. After only having her about two months, they were heart broken to know they couldn't keep her but realized that she deserves better. She needs a place in a home with "her pack" as well as being given lots and lots of playtime outside too! So their wish to those reading this is for Tova to find herself a new home with wonderful owners so that she can be loved and continue to grow into an even more precious dog than she is today! She will no doubt make a perfect pet, companion and life long friend. !
Update: Tova has been in for Xrays and she does have dysplasia and may need surgery in the future. She is not in pain currently and runs and plays endlessly.
