Copper is a long-coated, X-X large 3 year-old puppy/dog. He's bouncy, BIG, playful and charmingly impish. He's well-mannered in the home and even-tempered but outside he's got boundless energy. This guy will need some property to run!! He should have an experienced shepherd owner as he is quite smart and uses it to test you, like so many other GSDs. His obedience training will need brushing up to keep him mannerly. We've been told he is from a German working line, as he's definitely not the AKC standard. This guy is more heavily-boned, with a straight back and upright in his hocks. He has a handsome, square head and amazing copper-colored eyes in a black face. Gorgeous dog! Copper is quite affectionate and loves to jump up on your lap for a snuggle, however his 100+lbs can be a bit heavy! He still has some puppy tendancies such as being mouthy, clumsy and not aware of his size. Because of this we don't recommend him for families with children younger that 12 years. No cats either!
