UPDATE from his Foster Mom:
Otis is a very affectionate and loving dog. He gets along with my two cats wonderfully. He also gets along with my Alpha female German Shepherd.
He is a great dog in the house. He is housebroken. He knows how to sit and come, we are working on the heel and down. What I have discovered about
Otis is that he wants to please you, so training Otis should be easy. He is extremely intellegent. Otis has been in some sort of accident. On the left side of his face, there is some mild paralysis. His mouth and
eyelid droop a little on that side. It may improve over time. Otis needs a home where he will get alot of attention. He likes to go for walks and playing with the ball.
Otis was rescued by chance from the Shelter. Our volunteer, Delisa, went to pick up the 10 yr old female who was scheduled to be euthanized in the morning with Otis. When she arrived, they asked if she was there to get the female and Otis..She took them both of course! We then needed transport over the Mountains and we called Rosa Lee and she went the next day to pick both of them up. We are so lucky to have volunteers like Rosa Lee and Delisa!
