Queenie is a very sweet gal who looks like an adorable teddy bear. She is calm in the house and is terrific with other dogs and cats. Her life before coming into our Rescue was living on an abandoned property in Eastern Washington with another dog and various farm animals. No people. Queenie and her pals were being fed by a kind neighbor until someone came to look at the property for possible sale. He is a wonderful gentleman from the UK who was determined to get Queenie and her pals into rescues even though he went back home! Through a friend here and email he was able to get all the abandoned dogs and animals into various rescues and shelters. br>
When Queenie arrived in our Rescue, she was not used to hugs and kisses and living indoors. Now she comes over hoping for attenion and affection. She is not demanding, but nicely lets you know she would like another pet please. She is now comfortable in the house and loves to lay by the fireplace on her bed. Queenie is terrific in the car and loves to go for rides about town while you run errands making her a wonderful dog for companionship. She is also perfect with cats (no chasing nor prey towards them) and is fine with all other dogs. Queenie weighs 65lbs.
