Ms. Ellie is a 8-9 year old mother who gave birth to her pups at the dog pound. Only Bogart survived. Ms. Ellie is a level headed, easy going, tolerant shepherd with a calm personality. She bonds quickly with those she relys on. The foster home has discovered that mom knows her basic commands, plus a few tricks, so far (shake, rollover). She also enjoys playing ball and hiding her chew toys. We believe she was an indoor dog who was cared for and are unsure as to what happened to her original owner as she was found a stray by a family and turned into the shelter. She has suffered chronic ear infections and developed polyps in her ears, which will need to be removed after she has weaned her puppy.
