We are hoping to find a loving foster home for Trusty! We desperately need a home as soon as possible!! If you are someone with a compassionate heart and a love of dogs and do not yet have a canine companion of your own, please consider fostering this beautiful boy until he finds his forever family!! Trusty just needs a home with a flat yard and no stairs, or "safe" stairs (baby gate). He LOVES people!!! Posted the week of 9/18. Trusty lights up when you pet him - longing for a gentle touch. For years, German shepherds have guided the sightless, providing them safety and a better quality of life. We are hoping that someone out there can return the favor to this dear boy and provide him with safety and love..... Dear Trusty has gone pre-maturely blind. This sweet guy was found wandering, lost and confused, in a parking lot and some caring police officers took him in. Trusty's foster home has reported that he is a true people's dog - loving to be near his family, receive affectionate pats, and just enjoy human company. Trusty is full of life - he is not an old guy, his eyes have just failed him. He gets around amazing well in safe surroundings. Are you someone who can look beyond his weaknesses, and see his other amazing qualities? Trusty will make someone a great companion, if the right family will give him the opportunity.
