German Shepherd Dog / Mixed : : Male : : Senior : : Large
Cheyenne barely escaped euthanasia at a shelter. An unfortunate reality for so many dogs that are past the age of 2 or 3 yrs. Happily, Rescue located a wonderful foster home for this beautiful boy! He is quite a stunning guy! Cheyenne's foster home has reported that he is very sweet and attentive. He appears to know his basic commands already. It appears that Cheyenne was secluded as an outdoor dog in his prior life, but he is certainly enjoying the new comforts that come with living as a part of a happy family!! Cheyenne enjoys going for walks, rides in the truck and he is quickly learning to play fetch. Cheyenne's foster home reports that he's acting more youthful and happy by the day! We are guessing his age between 5-7 yrs. He loves to chase a ball and show off his fun side!!
An added bonus; he is crate trained and perfectly calm indoors.
Cheyenne is going to make someone an outstanding companion. He adores being around his family. Cheyenne does not do well around cats or small dogs, so a home without would be best for everyone. If you are looking for a great boy to add to your family, please consider giving Cheyenne a chance at his new life - the life he should have had all along.
