These darling 10 wk old pups are the result of an owner's AKC German shepherd having an accident with the neighbor's dog. The owners took great care of the pups until they entered Rescue, searching for their new loving home. Their build would lend them well to active owners, looking for a jogging or walking partner or someone wanting to give Agility a try!! See foster home notes below: Velvet grows sweeter every day. She can’t wait for us to come home and insists on being held and kissed for at least 5 minutes before you can let her down. She plays very well with the older dogs and is easily corrected when she steals the occasional shoe or slipper. This little girl wants to find a loving home to call her own. Black Velvet has made trips to the office and she even fell asleep in the “in basket” - now that is the kind of mail we like to get in our in baskets!!! She follows her pack leader closely and pays close attention to what is going on around her. She is already paper trained and crate trained. These pups will be wormed, UTD with shots, microchipped and altered with their paid adoption fee of $140.00.Please complete an application if you would like to meet this terrific dog.
