Ella is a lovely, adult female new to Rescue. Ella is easy-going, calm, obedient and all-around wonderful indoors! She is doing fine with her foster home's cat and even met the family bunny! Ella can appear to be somewhat aloof to strangers (as is typical of her breed) but once she knows you, she comes out of her shell and shows her affectionate side. She breaks her "aloof" to strangers rule for children, whom she seems to adore; eagerly greeting them with kisses and a softly wagging tail. Ella would be an outstanding Shepherd for a family hoping to own one of these magnificent dogs for the first time. Her gentle nature, affectionate demeanor and easy-going temperment will lend her to melding into most any family.
