About Bear

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Housetrained: Yes
Bear has such a sad story. He was left at a high kill shelter, scared and alone. He was lucky enough to have somene come along and adopt him, but they left him at the vet clinic where he went in for his first appointment because they did not want to pay to have a tooth extracted! He was literally abandoned and left to die. We were contacted to see if there was any chance that he could come to a foster home, or he would have to be put down. Luckily, we have a wonderful foster home who agreed to take this old boy in. Bear is such a sweet boy! His foster mom reports that he is affectionate, calm, house and crate trained and doing very well! He has alot of life left in him and will make someone a joyful companion for the remainder of his years. Can you help give Bear his happily ever after? (a no cat household is preferred) Please note: Our rescue is run exclusively by volunteers. We will process your vet check and application as soon as possible, but delays sometimes occur when there is a high volume of applications. Thank you for your understanding.
