Arthur is a mellow older fellow looking for a place to call his own. He enjoys lounging around the house and being with his people. He adores going on car-rides or curling up in his bed. Arthur would be most content as the only dog, but could handle being with other dogs if he needed to. He is in his twilight years and needs a place to call home. Our adoption process includes completion of an adoption application, a vet check, a home visit and a lifetime adoption contract. Adoptions are not done on a first come first serve basis. WA German Shepherd Rescue is the companion animal's advocate and will select the most suitably matched home for the dog's general needs and the unique needs of each individual dog in our care. We reserve the right to refuse service and adoption without explanation. Please note: Our rescue is run exclusively by volunteers. We will process your vet check and application as soon as possible, but delays sometimes occur when there is a high volume of applications. Thank you for your understanding Arthur is an adorable 13 yr old Dachshund mix..He was well cared for during his 13 years of life. However his owners lost their home and Arthur lost his home too... Arthur is a wonderful companion..quiet, in a home with other dogs, cats and kittens and is very gentle. You will often find him sleeping on the dog bed, our bed or just hanging out in the TV.. He deserves a wonderful home for the many more years he will have! PLEASE HELP STOP BREED SPECIFIC LEGISLATION
