Right now, Pepper loves to lie in the living room on her dog bed..She is 3 years of age and is in a foster home with small and large dogs. Her favorite dog to play with is a 7 lb dog..Hard to imagine! She is just super gentle with the small dogs. How could someone not have been able to keep her? She is so quiet and just sits there sleeping most of the time.
Many people think that when they drop their pet at the Shelter, that the dog or cat will find a new wonderful home. The reality is far less that that.
We are looking for a home for Pepper, with someone who has the time to allow Pepper to join their family, sleep in the living room on her dog bed, and cuddle when they need that comfort at the end of the day..
Pepper was lucky as we made what little room we had to take her..However, 12 other dogs that morning were not so lucky..
