German Shepherd Dog / Mixed : : Male : : Young : : Large
My name is Jake, I am a handsome GSD mix—not sure what else I have in me but whatever it is, it makes me a nice, easy dog to handle. My foster mom says that I have the best house manners of any foster dog so far….a title that I intend to hold on to!
I am currently residing in a house with children andcats and they seem to appreciate my company. My favorite game is playing fetch with the bright green tennis balls that we seem to have everywhere. Ithink I like the cats I am fostered with more than they like me. The cats seem to have really sharp little claws and when I overstep my bounds, they happily let me know. I really just want to play with cats, but I leave them alone because that is what my foster family and the cats seems to want. I always listen to my humans, I want to please them so much, and it really makes me happy.
There are 3 other dogs too that I get to play and run with. We play all day running and nipping at each other, I really love my new doggy friends.
I happily sleep in my crate at night, although I like to sleep on a bed on the floor in my foster mom’s room too. I never get up on the bed, and only get on the couch if I am invited. I love to lie on the couch with my head in my mom’s lap while she reads or watches TV. I love being cuddled and I am very quiet and appreciative of attention.
I am told that I was saved in just the nick of time from euthanization, I don’t know what that is but by the way they say it, it doesn’t sound good. Now I enjoy a fun filled life, camping, hiking, and relaxing like I am supposed to. I am a little anxious though to find my forever home. I am proving to adapt to any situation.
