Update on Lena - a darling young dog who had to undergo surgery for a bad break in her leg: Lena had her surgery at WSU - she now has two pins and a wire support in her knee, and is sporting a blue bandage around her left leg, and she will need to convalesce for the next 4-5 weeks. She's still very lively though, this despite the fact she's also being treated with Codeine for her kennel cough So, we're trying our best to keep her comfortable and quiet.. We'll try to send you a digital picture of Lena in the next few days. She's a very sweet little dog, and made friends with everyone at WSU while she was there. Please note: Our rescue is run exclusively by volunteers. We will process your vet check and application as soon as possible, but delays sometimes occur when there is a high volume of applications.
