Velvet has been found and is safely back with her foster mom!!
Velvet was spared when our Rescue pulled her from a shelter where she was red listed (about to be euthanized). Luckily we had an open home for her and she is definitely a dog who was worth saving!
Velvet is a bit shy, but full of love and affection. She adores playing with the other dogs at her foster home. Her foster mom has described her as loving, playful and sweet to have around. She loves getting cookies, playing with her toys and even catching snowflakes! She gets along with everyone (especially Junie and Izzy at her foster home) and she is incredibly devoted to her person.
She is already house-trained and crate-trained. Please consider giving Velvet her forever home to settle into. She's had a hard life, but her forgiving nature allows her to go on as if she didn't......

Our adoption process includes completion of an adoption application, a vet check, a home visit and a lifetime adoption contract. Adoptions are not done on a first come first serve basis. WA German Shepherd Rescue is the companion animal's advocate and will select the most suitably matched home for the dog's general needs and the unique needs of each individual dog in our care. We reserve the right to refuse service and adoption without explanation.
Please note: Our rescue is run exclusively by volunteers. We will process your vet check and application as soon as possible, but delays sometimes occur when there is a high volume of applications. Thank you for your understanding.
