Reine should join a family/owner who has prior experience handling a show or competition shepherd. Reine looks to her owner for commands and is eager to please. She is wonderful on walks and looks to her handler for direction. An owner hoping for a dog to "work" with would be fantastic for Reine as she will thrive in this environment.
Reine is a beautiful, young AKC female. Reine has a striking, shiny ebony coat and gorgeous copper eyes. She is truly beautiful! This young girl does best in a calm, controlled environment with great leadership. She is crate-trained, and house-trained and knows her basic obedience. In fact, she is pursuing her higher education right now and her trainer thinks that she has fantastic potential to achieve great heights! She is living in a home with other dogs. Reine loves to play, but is a young, alpha personality, so she should perhaps be the only dog, or placed with a young, playful male. Reine will only be adopted to an experienced Shepherd owner who believes in strong-leadership and obedience. Reine will make the right family a fantastic companion. She loves to receive attention and she is fantastically athletic (great jogging partner!). Please complete an application to see if you are the right match for Reine.
Our adoption process includes completion of an adoption application, a vet check, a home visit and a lifetime adoption contract. Adoptions are not done on a first come first serve basis. WA German Shepherd Rescue is the companion animal's advocate and will select the most suitably matched home for the dog's general needs and the unique needs of each individual dog in our care. We reserve the right to refuse service and adoption without explanation.
