German Shepherd Dog / Mixed : : Female : : Adult : : Large
Onya is a beautiful Schutzhund German bred female who is searching for her new forever home. She is wonderfully crate-trained and has lived her life as an indoor companion. She adores her person and is in a foster home with cats! Onya is very affectionate and eager to please, which lends her well to her required obedience! She is a smart girl and will shine with continued training. Onya enjoys her daily walks and spending quality time with her family.
Onya's personality dictates that she be the only dog and she will only be placed with an experienced adult shepherd family who knows and understands this breed well. Onya's foster reports that she ADORES going for walks (would be an excellent jogging partner), and loves to play ball and go for car rides. She has excellent house manners and basic obedience. She is a fabulous dog who will make her owner proud! She is extremely loving and gorgeous. Onya has a pancreatic enzyme disorder, a treatable condition controlled through diet and enzyme supplements. Her foster parents also give her a zantac in the morning to help her. Onya's condition is easily treated and does not negatively impact her life.
