Amie's foster mom has reported that this beautiful girl adores attention and even gives big hugs and puppy kisses. She has alot of energy (typical of a young dog) but does lay down after she finds a spot to settle in. Amie has not had alot of obedience in her young life, but she is quickly picking up the commands necessary to make her a pleasant house dog. She will definitely benefit from going to obedience and joining a family that is familiar with her breed; the combination will surely turn her into a magnificant girl! We think that Amie would be best suited to enjoying just the companionship of human family members as she enjoys being the center of attention. Our adoption process includes completion of an adoption application, a vet check, a home visit and a lifetime adoption contract. Adoptions are not done on a first come first serve basis. WA German Shepherd Rescue is the companion animal's advocate and will select the most suitably matched home for the dog's general needs and the unique needs of each individual dog in our care.
