My name is Queenie. I am a two year old tiny Pekingese.

I was left at the shelter by my mom and was terrified to be in such a cold and noisy place. A nice lady came to get me one day to bring me to a rescue foster home. Lucky me! I spend my days playing with my foster brothers, two poodles. I like to show them who is boss, they don't call me Queenie for nothing! I love to pick up my stuffed animal friends and carry them around the house. Some of them are as big as I am!

I love to chew on my bones and rawhides but love to go for walks even more. I love to prance around and roll on my back in the grass. I love affection and adore sitting with my foster moms lap. I am really good indoors and when I try to communicate, my little bark sounds like a tiny monkey! I have been told I am the cutest dog in the world and I believe it.

Queenie has a congenital medical condition that can be managed with diet and medication. It might be cured with surgery. She has a porto-systemic shunt She needs protein restricted diet.
