Do you or someone you know have the desire to help a rescue dog? If you have a loving heart, dog experience, a safe and secure yard and the notion to make a difference, please consider fostering a rescue dog. There are MANY dogs that we just do not have room for and just one person can make a world of difference to a dog that needs a safe place to rest his or her weary paws..... New 5/19/08 Hi my name is Bridget, I just want all of you to know that I am a very happy dog. I love to play ball, to jog or run, which ever you do I want to do it with you. I am happy laying by the TV or the computer or even watching my foster mom put on her makeup. I bark to let you know when someone is at the door but I am happy to meet everyone and love affection. I come back really quick when you call my name because I try hard to do the things I am told to do, even if I am an acre out - I have great recall. I am very excited to ride in the car and I can run so fast at the park. I enjoy playing with other dogs and I am getting used to cats I am so much better in the house but I still think it is the most fun to chase them outside. Please come to see me as I am really excited to meet you and show you just how good life can be with Bridget by your side......
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Bridget is an affectionate girl who is willing and eager to return love to her foster mom. As with most shepherds, she bonds strongly with her caregiver and quickly takes over her job as family guardian. Bridget's foster mom would love to see Bridget join an adult family who has owned shepherds before and knows what incredible dogs they are. She describes the perfect home as a place where Bridget can continue to learn, feel love and security, take trips to the park for playtime and just be part of the family that she will surely love. Bridget already has impeccable house manners, is potty and crate trained and she is ready to meet her special adult family. If you are ready to share your life with a special, young dog looking for love and leadership, please consider beautiful Bridget.

Please fill out an application to meet me at http://www.washingtongsd.org/application.html The adoption process includes completion of an adoption application, a vet check, a home visit and a lifetime adoption contract.
