Katya is a gorgeous girl looking for her forever family. She is very typical Shepherd and super smart. She loves being with her family, playing, and of course herding. She is very loving and playful. Katya LOVES to fetch and really enjoys playing “water attack” with her foster mom and the garden hose. Her acrobatic feats are amazing to watch, she is agile and very striking. When she is not active she lays quietly on her dog bed. Nighttime she loves to lay down next to you to get groomed with a brush and some good loving pats.
Katya's dream home would consist of people who are willing and want to spend lots of time with her. Her brilliance would make her an excellent candidate in obedience and agility classes as she is eager at the chance to show off her skills in any setting and really aims to please. This girl is extremely in-tune and her foster mom says that, “Katya appears to know exactly what you are saying - no matter what it is!” She is very responsive and has excellent recall. Katya already knows how to sit, lie down and shake upon request.
Katya has great energy for running, playing, chasing balls and toys, etc. She would thrive in a home where someone wants to engage her in play! She has boundless energy and loves to play with other large dogs but is a little much for little dogs, cats, and other small animals. She really craves companionship with humans and wouldn’t mind a brother or a sister playmate too and will make a super addition to a very lucky family!!! PLEASE HELP STOP BREED SPECIFIC LEGISLATION
