Mama has had a hard, sad life prior to coming into Rescue, but she is still sweet and perhaps more grateful and loving because of her past. Her prior life consisted of a life outside, on a chain, tethered to a tree. Now she resides inside a warm and loving home and she is so grateful for the comforts that she is becoming used to! Mama is affectionate, calm, well-behaved and already house (and crate) trained. She always wags her tail because she cant believe she is allowed indoors with a family. She loves to cuddle or lay by your feet ....She will sit patiently next to you in the kitchen, looking up at you while you prepare her meal. She still cant believe she gets to eat twice a day!! We have discovered that Mama also enjoys watching "The Dog Whisperer", she walks up to the TV sit, stares and barks at the dogs on the show!!

Our adoption process includes completion of an adoption application, a vet check, a home visit and a lifetime adoption contract. Adoptions are not done on a first come first serve basis. WA German Shepherd Rescue is the companion animal's advocate and will select the most suitably matched home for the dog's general needs and the unique needs of each individual dog in our care. We reserve the right to refuse service and adoption without explanation.
