Max is a beautiful young shepherd that just arrived into rescue. He is around 6 months old and is an AKC certified shepherd. He is a sweet guy who will benefit from the knowledge of a very experienced German Shepherd owner. With a bit of obedience training Max will show you what a fantastic companion he will be. He loves to go on walks and lives to play fetch with any tennis ball around.
He is currently in a foster home with cats, small and large dogs. Max would be best suited in an adult only home. If you are not a strong handler and do not have a lot of GSD experience, please do not apply for Max"
FOSTER UPDATE Max is doing remarkably well. He goes on morning walks and is just an angel on a leash. Max was able to go to the dog park this past weekend (a small dog park) and he had a blast. He adored all the dogs we went with and followed them around. He does great on short runs, nothing too long as he is still a pup. Max is just a great pup and will excel with training and obedience classes. PLEASE HELP STOP BREED SPECIFIC LEGISLATION
