American Staffordshire Terrier / Mixed : : Female (spayed) : : Baby : : Large
Hello, my name is Arzu. I am an American Staffordshire Terrier. I am deaf. My foster parents think that I am the sweetest dog! I love my foster brother Zorro; he is a big shepherd. I like to snuggle up in his furry chest when he’s laying down, it is so comfy. I am very playful and can hold my own with the big dogs. I love to snuggle and give kisses. I am very affectionate. I am not that fond of my crate so I tend to cry a little, but I do much better if my foster parents cover it. I am still very much a baby and I get a kick out of exploring my world around me. I ran around the family room last night sampling every toy I could find, boy that was fun. I have never been around so many toys. My foster parents say that I am very sweet and a good natured girl.
I tend to stay pretty close to my foster parents and I love to be held or carried around. I am still in the potty training stage, as I am still too young for serious training. However, I am a quick learner and am picking up obedience from the older dogs in my home. Seeing as I am deaf, the most important thing for me right now is learning not to be scared or startled, which my foster parents feel I am doing very well with. I need a loving home with someone who will appreciate my sweet nature and help me to be my best, despite my disability. My foster parents state that deaf dogs do remarkably well if started out in the right environment as puppies. I am off to a great start as I am around others who are loving, supportive, protective, understanding, and nurturing. While I love this environment that I am in; I would really like to find my forever home very soon so I can begin my learning, exploring, and handling my disability in a great environment. I am a little bundle of love eagerly awaiting my forever family so that I can share my affection and learn all about this great big world! Please take me home to love and protect me.
