Hi-I’m Raven. I am a 6 month old american bull dog. I am petite at 29 lbs-no stocky build for me! I love to run and am very fast. I love to chase a ball and keep it away until I tire you out. I am very gentle with all people-I just love to give kisses and they usually have food! I currently live with dogs, both small and large, cats, goats, chickens and a bunny. I get along fine with all of them and learned quickly when the cats told me I was too close. I am learning a “leave it” command and caught on to it very quickly. I walk on a leash very politely. I really like to learn new things-I learned “sit” in one day. I LOVE food so training is easy for me. I sleep in a crate at night and can go all night without an accident. I am almost housebroken. I also love being with my people. If I could I would someone to be with me all day, I know this is not possible - but I can dream. I have a skin condition call Demodex and am undergoing treatment for it. Last week I was shaved and had a bath to treat it which I liked very much. I have 4 more baths to go and then they are hoping that my fur will grow back and I will look like a normal pup. My skin is already better and I am enjoying not being itchy. It doesn’t affect my energy or affection! I love a long walk and hugs more than anything. I am a very good girl and just want to make you happy. All I need is a forever home! __________________________________ Hello, I’m Raven. I JUST ARRIVED INTO RESCUE! I am an American Bull Dog mix. I am only a few months old. Unfortunately, I have had a rough start to life. I was brought into the shelter as a suspected neglect case. I was found tied to a stop sign. I was wearing a harness and it was cutting into my skin on the left axilla. The shelter ended up having to cut off my harness. They then cleaned my wounds and found that I had Demodex, which is cured using a few medications that I am currently on. I cannot wait to get all healed up. My skin may not look the best, but I promise I am beautiful and will be beautiful again once I get past the neglect. Thankfully a rescue came in to get me and two other pups, boy are we lucky. My first stop was a house with two other small breed dogs. We all were able to get out there and run around. I had fun. They thought I was the sweetest pup there. They kept commenting on how calm I was and good I was with the 6 week old pup. They were quite shocked with my demeanor. Little do they know, that I am a very well behaved dog despite my age and neglect. I am very friendly. I love to cuddle and hug. All I want is to be loved and cared for. My next stop was my foster home. They have a large yard and many other dogs and pups there. This place is fun and exciting, but a bit chaotic. I will sometimes go out and sit alone in the sun and just chill. I would really like to find my forever home. I have a lot to offer someone and I really want the love and attention from my own family. I have no history with children, so I am best suited in a home without young children.
