Cora has passed away while in foster care. Luckily she was in a loving home with caring people when she passed. Saturday May 17 Cora's foster home emailed us today and let us know that Cora is just a gem! Cora has been eagerly exploring the property of her foster family and running side by side with their dog, Clint. She has also adopted their older daughter as her person. She attentively watches her every move and sticks by her side like glue. We can only guess that Cora enjoyed the company of a young lady in her past..... Her foster family is shocked and saddened that anyone ever gave this fabulous dog up. She deserves a wonderful adult family to love her!! As with most any dog, she will return that love tenfold.....

Cora is an incredibly sweet older girl who unexpectedly lost the only home she has ever known when her family divorced and moved their separate ways....Cora should be enjoying her twilight years being loved by her family, but she has been displaced and is searching for a new bed to rest her lovely head upon.

Luckily we were here to take Cora out of the shelter that she was in. Her future at a shelter has only one outcome and it's not pleasant. She is currently safe in a loving foster home and patiently waiting for a family to take her home and love her. Cora's foster home has reported that she is a very calm, sweet dog who does fabulously with the other dogs in the house. Cora is left loose in the house and lays down quietly at night for bed.....she wakes up and joins her foster mom in the morning for the household duties. Cora is a fabulous dog who will give much love to her new family. She will happily listen to your stories, warm your toes, watch you water the lawn and keep you company when you read. Please consider giving this loving dog a happy ending. She truly deserves to be loved and cherished in her golden years.
