Labrador Retriever / Boxer / Mixed : : Female (spayed) : : Adult : : Large
This is Alexa. She is a sweet lab/boxer mix. She has the docktail of a boxer, but the gorgeous coat of a lab. Truly a remarkable gal. She walks nicely on a leash and has excellent house manners, you don't even realize she is around.
Alexa is currently in a foster home with large and small breed dogs, as well as cats. However Alexa is best suited in a home as the only dog or with small breed dogs. Alexa was found running loose with a Min Pin, her trusted and loyal companion. Alexa's Min Pin companion was placed, so now Alexa is in search of her forever home. UPDATE Alexa's daily routine It starts at 6:30am when she eats and goes outside to do her business .She has to completely walk the entire fence line to make sure all is well, once verified she comes back to the door and lets me know she is ready to come back in. She then hangs out in the house for the day until I or my wife gets home at 5:30 (the whole time in the house she has never messed or gotten into anything). She is always right there at the front door waiting to greet you when you get home and is very excited to see you. She then gets to go out and investigate the back yard again. She always wants to play ball before she thinks about coming back in and eating dinner - WOW I would be starved. After eating she just hangs out in the kitchen while my wife cooks. She is so quiet I sometimes forget Alexa is there. I will some times find her sitting in front of our window just checking out what's happening. We have also found she loves riding in the back of my wife's grand Cherokee. Would love to go for rides and travel.
