Logan is an incredibly handsome (and big!!) puppy.
He has a shiny black coat, HUGE paws, big bones - all the makings for a stunning adult, male shepherd! He bonds very quickly with his handler, giving them his undivided attention and devotion. Logan is extremely eager to please and will make a good student in his mandatory obedience classes! This fun loving pup adores playing ball (or tug, or anything else that you'd like to toss his way) He gets along fantastically with the other dogs in his foster home and greets the kids that come out to play with a happily wagging tail. Logan is already crate-trained, and while he'd rather be out with you, he will go into his crate without much effort and he will stay in there all night without whining or making a mess.
Logan loves his food and he appears to be food motivated (another bonus for training! Now for the reality check! Logan is still very much a puppy! He wants so badly to be near you that he'll bowl you over while working in the yard or stay constantly under your feet. He thinks that the mud is MUCH more fun than the clean deck and he won't hesitate to jump on you with his monstrous puppy paws. Logan is in need of training and he needs some help in the puppy manners department! He is a typical puppy. Think of Logan as a toddler - into mischief, not quite knowing what is expected of him, very needy, sometimes vocal, but alot of potential!! Logan was very unsure of himself and those around him when he was first taken into rescue. While he is not that way now, we need to be very aware of his potential to be afraid and choose his new family carefully. Logan is a great puppy who will make a fantastic dog with the right owner! This gorgeous boy is going to be adopted to an adult family who has always owned shepherds. To an adult family who knows how important structure, socializing and training is. Someone who is excited to go for daily walks, trips in the car, strolls through the park, and romps at the dog park. Logan is an absolute doll that will steal the heart of anyone lucky enough to meet him. We will be posting more photos of him because he is so darn cute (and handsome) that it's hard to resist!!
