Freya is beautiful, despite her slightly matted fur and her gaunt frame. Freya is sweet and loving, despite being abandoned and neglected. Freya is well-mannered and quiet, despite her lack of care. Dogs have such a capacity for love and acceptance, even when they have been horribly treated and abandoned by those they trust. Freya is in good hands now. Thanks to a shelter staff that realized her sweet disposition outweighed her sad condition, she was turned over to our rescue and is in a loving foster home. Freya has already had a bath and is enjoying a soft bed, loving hands and good food. Freya WILL flourish here. Freya WILL get a bounce in her step, a small on her face and a happily wagging tail. Freya just needs some time, love, good food and a comfortable home so that she can rest and recover.
