Thor is a very handsome old boy! Sadly, he lost his home when his owner passed away. Although obviously distraught over his loss, he is adapting well and longing for a new family to call his own. This beautiful boy has excellent house manners and is in good health for his 13 yrs of age. He does have epilepsy but is easily treated with daily inexpensive medication. Thor has always had a family to care for and he needs one to look out for now. If you have room in your home and your heart for a loving dog who deserves a place to call his own, please consider Thor. He is an easy keeper who is sure to return any and all affection that he receives tenfold. This beautiful and calm boy even enjoys the company of cats.....Please don't pass him up just because he isn't a puppy anymore.
Foster home Update: Just wanted to let you know that Thor is doing well. We took him to the cabin with us this past weekend and he did great. He liked to spend a lot of time alone, but he did very well when surrounded by a lot of people-! Nothing phases that dog...he laid next to the guys while they were lighting off fireworks and just watched. Everyone loved him because he was so mellow and easy to have around. He is super stubborn (or REALLY deaf) but he doesn't really do anything bad so it isn't really an issue! Our biggest thing now is trying to get him to wag his tail. When he actually shows signs of being happy, we get very excited!
