Wow...what more can we say about Balto. Balto is a striking male Shepherd that has just arrived into rescue.
Foster home Update:
Such a sweet and handsome boy with gorgeous coloring, mainly black with some caramel. Gorgeous, gorgeous copper/gold eyes make him a stunner with his coloring. He's another love sponge, too!
The kids are away at summer camp so the dogs took that as a sign that they should all pig-pile on the bed with me last night, and Balto was right up at the head of the bed so he could snuggle. He plays well with Loriel, Brie's a brat so he doesn't play much with her and, well, you know Poli Bear.... He's just a lump and is pretty disinterested in other dogs. One thing I've learned is that he loves to "sing" with emergency vehicle sirens! OMG, it's absolutely hilarious!! He gets a lot of singing time in, too, b/c we live right down the street from a fire station and they pass within 1/2 block of our house many times a day. Oy, he's funny. He LOVES to be outside in the nice weather and just hangs by the door to let me know he wants to sunbath or just lounge on the patio. He really is a sweet, sweet gentle boy and buries his head in my lap when I sit with him.
