Billy was surrendered with his companion Bobby to us when his owner for the past several years was put into assisted living. His owner is heartbroken to have to give up his pets, but has no choice at this point.
Billy is a large dog, weighing in at approximately 70 lbs. He is very attentive to his handler, as to be expected from a herding dog. Billy is a working dog, and needs a job to do to keep him busy. He is being fostered with other dogs.
Billy will do great as an only dog, or with another dog. He does not necessarily need to be adopted with Bobby.
