Nikko is an incredibly calm and centered young man. At just 2 years old, he is the perfect age for a shepherd, completely potty trained, loyal, and trustworthy when left unattended in the house. He loves to sleep with the 14 year old in the house, and play with the dogs both big and small. Although he is a very large dog, he is scared of the cats in the house. Nikko dances playfully when he is happy to see you-and comes up to shyly lick your hand....he is typical shepherd cautious at first, but warms up quickly to be everyones best friend. In his foster home, he had to first learn to conquer the slippery, scary stairs -- he now prances up them like a champ ! He is also doing really well with the new people that come and go often in the house, he adapts well to new situations and people. This dog is a rare find in a shepherd, having been exposed to kids, cats, and all sizes of dogs. He does not get overwhelmed at all, and fits right in. FENCED YARD REQUIRED FOR ANY OF OUR DOGS!!
