Max is an Xlarge large, 95 lb, handsome German German Shepherd. He is a stunning looking dog and is noticed everywhere he goes. His classic good looks and formidable size make him quite the attention getter. Unfortuantely, for Max, his owner passed away and the family felt it would best to find Max a new home where he would be the center of attention....he is willing to share the attention with cats, as having lived in his previous home with a cat. He is currently being fostered with other dogs and is great with the foster dogs but we feel he would love to be the only dog in the household as he demands lots of attention from his owner! Max loves loves loves the water.. Besides sticking his head in the water bucket, he loves to bite the hose and loves to swim. He would spend hours in the water if his foster dad allowed him to! He already swims hours every Sunday evening. He also goes for walks every evening as his foster mom loves to walk and run.. Max also loves to nudge your hand with his nose that he would appreciate some ear scratches and a neck rub. He loves being with his foster family and would thrive in a new situation with someone who either stays at home and is looking at focusing on a new dog, or someone who has the time to spend taking leisurely walks with him in the evenings.. He just wants to be with his person whether that is watching TV, taking a walk or even swimming in a kiddie pool on the summer days FENCED YARD REQUIRED FOR ANY OF OUR DOGS!!
