Dachshund / Mixed : : Male : : Adult : : Small
Mack is a young, neutered dachsund/terrier mix currently in foster care. He had an accident which resulted in having a back leg amputated, but that hasn't affected his super sweet, goofy, affectionate disposition one bit! Weighing approx. 25 lbs., he's housebroken and is the perfect compact size for an apartment or condo situation. He will happily volunteer to be your couch pillow because he's a total cuddle bug, but also likes exploring outdoors (supervised, of course). Mack is being fostered in a home with another dog and cats. The terrier in him means he can be stubborn at times and motivated to chase cats, but he learns quickly and is already responding to consistent training. He is low maintenance with his short, dense coat, is not a fussy eater and is naturally calm and quiet unless egged on by the resident barky small dog. Mack enjoys hanging out with his people and dog buddy and would be an awesome companion to a lucky family. Do you have room in your heart and home for this loving little tripod doggie with the softest ears?
