German Shepherd Dog : : Male : : Adult : : Large
Easton is a distinguished black and tan German Shepherd. He's got a handsome face that always seems to be smiling at you - even in his pictures.
Easton knows all of his commands and is loves to go for walks on leash with his foster mom. Easton ended up at the annex of an over crowded shelter where he just waited alone for his date to be euthanized. People usually coming to a shelter are looking for young and the staff didn’t even bother giving Easton a chance by putting him where the public would see him. Easton, despite all, has a jolly temperament, now that he knows he is safe. Easton would make such a devoted pet, even though he is so sweet, anyone who is afraid to be alone, Easton looks very imposing, you could sleep tight knowing you have this sweetie right next to you. We know you would have sweet dreams! Easton should be the only dog in his new home even though he is being fostered with other dogs as he really feels he deserves all of the attention of his foster mom.
Easton is such a great boy with a high food and toy drive. He has an intense passion for his toys and food which brings out his goofy, playful side. He knows all of his commands like sit, stay, down and come and he gives such focus when he's being trained that he often anticipates what's coming before you ask. He walks great on a leash, is housebroken and even spent time with one of our trainers who knows that Easton is really a great dog. He does need someone who is experienced with shepherds who can provide strong leadership. Easton thrives with structure and order and leadership but also with a gentle and kind spirit with his foster mom. In that type of home environment there's really no limit to his loyalty and love. What are you waiting for? Easton can't wait to find his forever home with you.
