German Shepherd Dog : : Female : : Young : : Large
Laila von is a gorgeous 2-year-old German Shepherd (She is the Shepherd on the right!). She's got one of those faces you can literally stare at all day long. She really is a special girl too. Her foster home was recently walking Laila with her foster brother and during the walk, Laila just started talking out of the blue. Now, of course it was "dog talk" and Laila kind of gave that "German Shepherd head tilt" to them as if to say "Don't you guys know what I'm trying to tell you?" Her foster mom tried to figure out what Laila was saying (and FYI... it's difficult to find trilingual foster homes who speak Japanese AND English AND "Dog") but she gave it her best shot. Apparently if we translated correctly, Laila would like everyone to know that she loves to go for walks, loves to show off her obedience and excellent understanding of all of her commands, but she's more inclined to tell you her goal is to find her forever home with someone who likes to walk with her and hike like she does. So she prefers it if you're a member of that outdoor REI store. She also said she loves to walk with other dogs and she knows leash manners and a few of those advanced commands like sit, down, gentle, come, crate. If you are reading this, know a lot about shepherds and their training needs, pass our requirements with flying colors, and are still interested in her, please contact us to come see her!
