About Madelaine vom Klostermoor

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Rescue ID: Trent, Jeanne S.
  • Housetrained: Yes
Madelaine vom Klostermoor is an incredible loyal and loving German Shepherd. When Madelaine came to us we could see that her heart was obviously broken into a million pieces since she lost her home and her family. It’s tough getting your world torn upside down like that so she made us promise that when she gets adopted it’s going to be forever because she wants to unpack her bags once and for all. (and she has lots of toys and tennis balls in those bags!) Madelaine is currently in a foster home but hasn’t settled in all the way because she seems to sense there’s no use in investing her heart into another place if it isn’t going to be her forever home. Her foster tells us she’s very calm and sweet with impeccable house manners and she listens to what her foster parents say. She also is crate trained and loves her crate. She absolutely loves to be near you and her soul radiates whenever she's with you. Madelaine would do best in an active home with someone experienced who can provide her with leadership, who will train her and give her a job to do. An active, intellectually stimulating lifestyle is important to her since she’s smart, curious and alert. She’s an all-around great dog who will make someone the perfect companion. She is the kind of dog who will walk with you on long walks, hike with you down the rockiest of roads, or will just kick back with you in the house just happy to be your friend. She has a great play drive and loves to chase toys and balls. Madelaine knows how to sit for a toy, is very toy motivated, and always tries to make you happy. Madelaine just wants to be with her people and will follow them around just in case they ever need her for anything. In fact, if you lose your keys, all you have to do is ask her where they are and she'll give you the famous shepherd head tilt response. We can't guarantee you'll be able to interpret her answer, but trust us, she knows where you left them! We are sure you'll fall in love with this girl as quickly as we have! If she sounds like the one for you, come meet her in person so she can dazzle you with her charm!
