Maximus is a very impressive XL German Shepherd. We have so many people asking for German Shepherds who are 100 pounds plus, Maximus! He knows his commands and walks by other dogs on a leash and prong collar like a gentleman. He is currently in a foster home with 2 female Shepherds and a cat..albeit the cat is large enough to be a dog!, so we think he could share his home with a dog savvy cat. His owner was unable to keep this boy and after being with someone for so who he cherished he ended up losing his home through no fault of his own. Maximus, despite all, has a big goofy temperament, now that he knows he is safe with a wonderful foster home. He likes to sit with his body pressed up against you; if you step away without warning him he falls over. He is so trusting you will be there for him. When he is pressed against you he looks up with complete adoration, he seems like he is actually grinning ear to ear. Maximus would make such a devoted member of your family, even though he is so sweet, anyone who is afraid to be alone, Maximus looks very imposing, you could sleep tight knowing you have this big sweetie right next to you. We know you would have sweet dreams! .
