Cookie is a young female Staffordshire Bull Terrier (http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/staffordshirebullterrier.htm) and is at the top of the list of being a wonderful and dog who is ready for that amazing home..Cupcake is one solid little mass of energy, personality, and fun! She stands 18-inches at the shoulder. True to her breed, she’s enthusiastic about work, play, the love she shows her family. She’s curious about anything and is highly task-oriented, so much so that any challenge that presents itself will be easily solved. Her breed is renowned for their courage, affection, and obedience. The Staffie routinely competes in agility and obedience trials in England. Additionally, Cookie is smooth-coated, so quite easy to groom--always a plus.
Cookie is currently living with a German Shepherd and maybe some of those Shepherd qualities are rubbing off. She is pretty darn loyal to her people, yet unlike many Shepherds, she’s friendly to people and dogs she knows. She loves to exercise! She runs with a member of her family five or six days out of seven. And she’s still up for a good, long game of tug-o-war or ball immediately following. She’s quite comfortable with car travel, for the run to the grocery or to the Pacific Ocean. She loves camping and walks in her neighborhood. Because of her enthusiasm, focus, and vigor in her play, Cookie would thrive in a home where she would be the only dog or with another dog that would love her to chase him. Sorry, a home without cats and small children would be best due to her exuberance. She also needs a serious daily commitment to her exercise. So if you’re not active, Cookie is not the right dog for you. All the same, if you're ready for the fun, Cookie certainly is!
