Halbert the Wonder Dog is the happiest dog you will ever meet. Like most dogs of his breed, he thinks every day is the best day ever! His favorite things are food, people, walks and other dogs, probably in that order. As a young dog, he was probably mischievous; luckily, he has slowed down as a senior. Halbert would much rather take a walk to the hardware store than go on a hike, especially because he gets treats at the hardware store and everyone pets him. He also loves meeting other dogs out on walks and has been around big and small dogs - small dogs LOVE him. He loves to hang out on the couch with his people and get a good belly rub before curling up for a nap. He has excellent house manners and is left free in the house when alone, though he does sometimes retreat to his dog cave (aka crate) when he needs some peace and quiet away from his overly exuberant foster sister. He is neutered, chipped and up to date on shots. Hal’s ideal home is cat free and has minimal stairs. We do have an application if you are interested in meeting him!
