Camilla is one of the most gorgeous dogs you will ever meet. Click on this link to see photos of this beauty.http://www.flickr.com/photos/91589247@N08/
She is currently being fostered with three big german shepherds and she is so easy going that all the shepherds love playing with her. On Xmas Eve foster dad met up with “J and M Productions” for her celebrity photo shoot in the Cascades by Crystal Mountain. Actually “J” is the person with the camera and “M” is the distraction, who stands behind “J”, waving his arms like a fool and speaking utter gibberish, all in the hopes of getting the canine celebrity to look at the camera. Off they went, stopping at Jack in the Box along the way, so that the film crew and the celebrity, Camilla, could get some much needed breakfast in preparation for the snowshoe trip that was the agenda for the day. Camilla rode nicely in the back of the car, and resisted chewing any of the enticing backpack straps, ski poles and snowshoes that were piled in the back alongside her. Once they arrived at the trailhead, the film crew donned their snowshoes and off they went. At first the snow was crunchy due to an ice crust and the snowshoes made a lot of noise but Camilla quickly realized the noise was nothing to worry about and she settled into her first experience in the snow. As the film crew ascended elevation, the snow turned to powder and soon Camilla was belly deep in snow. She LOVED it and was a real trooper. At lunch time, the film crew treated the dogs to some Oberto’s beef jerky. It was Xmas Eve, after all! Camilla is definitely treat motivated as some of the photos attest to in the flickr link. On the way back Camilla saw a deer and a rabbit, and she was very well behaved, resisted any temptation to chase them, which is more than can be said for the film crew’s dogs, Holly and Paloma!! On the way back to Seattle, the film crew stopped to get some photos of Camilla and the Xmas lights, but Camilla was too settled into her post-hike nap to fully cooperate, so it was time to take her back to her foster-dad. What a wonderful dog to spend Xmas Eve with, a real delight. Foster-dad reported that after a quick romp with the household dogs, Camilla turned in for the night in her crate and snoozed her way blissfully into Xmas morning.
