Kaela is new to rescue! This adorable 12-month-old black female German Shepherd was very well loved and cared for in the first year of her life. Surrendering Kaela to us is a heartbreaking decision for her owner, but Kaela’s owner also has a German Shepherd senior who needs the sole focus of her attention. Kaela was raised in a home with a cat, another German Shepherd and a child. She has extensive training and listens extremely well. However, keep in mind that Kaela is only 12 months old, so, with that, patience, good structure at home and solid leadership is required. Kaela loves to please and is willing to listen. She will continue to excel in obedience in her new home. Kaela has a wonderful solid foundation. Over the past year, Kaela has travelled a lot! She loves to go in the car. Her last family trip was to Whistler, BC. Kaela rides great in the car and is excellent in hotels, too. She is a very people and animal social German Shepherd. Kaela’s owner worked from home, so, Kaela is very content to sit on one of the various dog beds in the home--whether behind the computer desk or by the family room sliding door looking out. Kaela loves to fetch and loves her Cuz ball for outdoors and her stuffed animals for indoors. She also loves going for walks.
