Trace is a big, beautiful, stocky male German Shepherd Dog. He is one of the most gentle German Shepherds you will ever meet! Trace is AKC registered and four years old (DOB 9/14/11). He lived, previously, with other German Shepherds and small dogs, and he got along great with all of them. Trace is incredibly gentle with the dogs of all sizes and cats he has met in his foster home. His foster home couldn't ask for a better house guest! He is so gentle and mild mannered. Trace is also incredibly quiet! He is perfectly crate-trained and loves his crate. So, Trace’s adopter will want to have a nice XL dog crate ready for him. Trace also has very good house manners. He prefers to find a corner dog bed to curl up in and sit there quietly while you read your newspaper or watch TV. You forget he is in the room with you! Trace's previous owners were an adult couple. Therefore, we are looking for a single or adult couple for this special boy. Trace is diagnosed with Pannus, which requires eye drops twice a day. He sits patiently and waits for you to administer the eye drops like a gentleman. Pannus is a common issue seen in German Shepherds and does not affect Trace in any aspect of his home life or outdoor activities. Treatment of Pannus is a lifelong commitment.
