Jade is a young, plush-coated, GSD that turned three years old this month (February). She weighs 70 lbs and is active and very playful. Jade is fostered with a small dog and has lived with cats in her former home. She is the classic, affectionate, devoted and loving GSD. Jade has basic obedience, but will need work on leash. She absolutely loves to play with dogs her own size. We would like to place Jade with another playful large breed male, around the same age. She can be selective of the dogs she likes, as most female GSDs are. Jade, however, is exceptionally playful for a female GSD. We are looking for an active adopter, or adopter(s), who will include Jade in the fun! She has not lived with small kids, so children in her new family must be over 10 years old. The potential adopter will need to complete her training on leash and will have lots of time for this wonderful shepherd. Again, we are looking for someone with another similarly aged, large breed, playful dog and an active person (or family) that includes the dogs in the fun. Jade loves to play tug-o-war, chase a ball and wrestle with her people. Jade is left loose in the house while her foster mom is at work and has wonderful house manners. If you would like to adopt Jade, please visit our website and apply today! PLEASE NOTE: The information contained within this biography is based on observations from the current foster home. In no way can we predict future behavior and or temperament as individual household dynamics vary greatly, and are impacted by the experience and leadership of those within the home. Please fill out an application to meet me at http://www.washingtongsd.org/application.html The adoption process includes completion of an adoption application, a vet check, a home visit and a lifetime adoption contract. Adoptions are not done on a first come first serve basis. WA German Shepherd Rescue is the companion animal's advocate and will select the most suitably matched home for the dog's general needs and the unique needs of each individual dog in our care. We reserve the right to refuse service and adoption without explanation. Are you following us on Facebook?
