Freya is a 3-year-old female German Shepherd, who was well loved and cared for by her previous family. She was surrendered to us due to some unfortunate major life changes. Freya does ok with other dogs. She loves to play fetch & tug and will bring you toys when she wants to play or when asked to bring them. Freya loves car rides, hiking, running and doing tricks for treats. She loves to be pet and nuzzled; Freya especially loves ear and nose scratches and will paw at you if you stop petting her before she is done. Freya enjoys sleeping in bed with her people and cuddling on the sofa, but is equally happy sleeping in her crate or laying on the floor as long as it’s near you. Freya knows basic commands like sit, stay, down, paw, spin and hug. She he will hit her food bin when she is hungry and will hit keys or bells if she needs to go outside. Freya is potty trained, crate-trained and is easily able to be left to roam the house. Freya has good leash manners, but sometimes needs to be reminded to heel if she gets excited by a rabbit or squirrel. Freya would do best in an active home!
