Kira is new to Rescue. This 2 ½ year old female German Shepherd lost her home when her owner enlisted. The other family members were unable to care for her. Kira has impeccable house manners. In her foster home, she is left loose and is calm and well mannered. She sits on her dog bed and waits for her foster mom to get home from work. Kira is living with another male German Shepherd whom she adores and loves to play with. They play soccer together with his and hers soccer balls. She runs around the yard and chases with him. She really has a unique play style and the two of them are a great match. We feel she might be best as an only dog as most dogs might not enjoy her playful hyper play style. She would be best in a home without cats and small dogs as she has not lived with either.
