Athena is a stunning, young, red and black West German show line female GSD. She is super smart, already knows basic commands and is eager to please in exchange for endless belly rubs. Athena is a friendly girl who adores the children in her foster home. Athena was raised with children; a cat and a male GSD Malinois mix with whom she got along very well. She is currently fostered with other dogs, cats and children. Athena is athletic, well-mannered and fun. She would love long walks (on the beach or elsewhere), hikes and car rides. Athena is crate trained and enjoys time with family as much as outdoor activities. Unfortunately, her previous owner did not have the time to give her the type of home she needs. When asked, she said her ideal home would have kids to play with, a fenced yard to run in, and strong leadership. She thinks another dog and even a cat could be fun too. She would also enjoy plenty of appropriate activities, including obedience training, lots of cuddling, puzzle toys, walks, playdates, and of course countless belly rubs.
